Title: Downright Normal
Author: TeeJay (tj_teejay )
Fandom: Being Human (US), i.e. SyFy
Genre: Gen
Characters: Aidan, Sally, Josh
Summary: Aidan gives a certain popular book a try, and doesn't quite get what the fuss is all about.
Rating: PG-13 for mild language
Warning: Rather unspecific Sally spoiler for, uhm... I don't know, maybe the first handful of episodes?
Author's Note: My very first Being Human (US) fic. I will admit that I've never watched the UK version (shame on me), and that I only gave the US version a chance because of Sam Huntington. And then I fell in love with it. Anyway...
This came to me and wouldn't leave me alone, so here it is. Hasn't been beta'ed because I don't know who to ask. But it should be fine, I'd like to think I know how to spell, even though English isn't my first language. Still, if you find any mistakes, typos, plot holes... keep them. Sorry, uhm, I meant, let me know. :o)
Disclaimer: Being Human (US), its characters and its settings belong to Toby Whithouse and SyFy. I'm not making any money from this. And I'm just borrowing, I promise.

I had to post this somewhere where someone would appreciate this!

Sam Huntington was one of the guests at Motor City Comic Con in Michigan this weekend waaaay out in the boonies where I live. (You can't find it on a map boonies. How he got here I have no idea.)

BUT! I got to meet him since he didn't have an absurdly high price for pictures and autographs (Brent Spiner - $30? for a PICTURE? Yes I love Data but WAT.)

1.) He is so adorable in person! Very warm and almost bubbly - the people in front of me had little kids who were fans of his and he put the little boy on his shoulders for a picture!

2.) http://twitpic.com/4xp1qx My picture with him!

3.) I actually FORGOT my comics at his booth because I was so starstruck by the fact that he had his arm around me. (Dorky I know.) Halfway across the con I realize I've forgotten them, run back for them and he realizes someone took my comics by mistake - he ran across the convention center for me just to retrieve them from the people who accidentally took them!

If you ever have the chance to meet him at a con, do so! He makes a point to talk to and take a picture with all of his fans.
